In which I introduce my ally (Part 2 of 2)
Yes, this rather suggestive looking contraption is indeed what arrived in the post for the Husband... Before we start, may I just take this opportunity to remind you of the old adage "never judge a book by its cover". Rest assured, I am not some sort of nymph and this object has absolutely nothing to do with sex. Yes, it resembles many things: an over-elaborate microphone, an ineffective drill, a hairdryer with an extremely odd attachment, not to mention something more unspea

In which I introduce my nemesis (Part 1 of 2)
The item pictured is an instrument of absolute torture, but there have been many times when I'd be lost without it. Yet, many of you won't know what the hell it is... In which I make it up the hill!
An odd sounding achievement, but it's something I've been trying to conquer for a couple of months now... This hill has been my nemesis for a couple of months. In which I have a fight with my boobs
Surely, the most difficult thing about running should be the actual running, right? I bloody hate sports bras. Honest to God, they are an instrument of torture! The hardest thing about doing exercise should be the actual exercising, not the removal and installation of one of these blooming things. As if it's not bad enough, heading out on a freezing cold morning, when all sane people are still tucked up in their warm, cosy beds; the only ones out and about are the fellow craz

In which I get left behind
Last week I had the bright idea of taking the kids out on their bikes whilst the Husband and I ran along beside. Big mistake! It's not very often that the kids leave the house at the moment. Mostly due to the fact I'm terrified of them catching Covid-19, but after being confined to our home and modest garden for seven weeks, the Husband and I decided to take them out on their bikes. It's been a long time since we've been brave enough to take them out for a ride. The little on
